The Brussels Motor Show has opened in Brussels Expo
The Brussels Motor Show has opened in Brussels Expo, running from 9 to 18 January 2026, features a mix of established brand launches and emerging electrified models that will matter to both fleet operators and private buyers over the next one to two years.

Kia has brought the EV2 to Brussels, positioning it as a compact B‑segment electric SUV aimed at widening access to EV ownership. The brand is quoting a range of up to 448 km (278 miles) and highlighting features including EV route planning, Plug & Charge and vehicle‑to‑load capability, which are likely to appeal to private buyers and salary sacrifice drivers seeking a smaller EV with modern charging functionality.

Hyundai is also using Brussels to debut the STARIA Electric, a large MPV aimed at high-occupancy use cases, including private customers needing space and business users running people-moving operations. Hyundai is positioning it as its flagship MPV, with the Brussels reveal highlighting the brand’s continued push into larger EV body styles beyond conventional SUVs.

For fleets watching new entrants, Chinese brand Zeekr has revealed the 7GT at Brussels as part of its European expansion, ahead of a UK debut. While this sits more in the premium end of the market, it underlines the widening choice of electric models arriving into Europe that could filter into executive and management car lists, depending on pricing and supply.

On the commercial vehicle side, Stellantis Pro One is showcasing a broad professional vehicle line-up at the show, spanning compact through large vans, with models from Peugeot, Citroën, Opel and Fiat Professional represented. For fleet operators, the key point is continued manufacturer focus on offering multiple body styles and conversions across the mainstream van segments, rather than one-size-fits-all electrification
